Policy for Make-up lessons (Strictly Enforced):
Please keep in mind that when you agree to lessons, you are paying for you or your child's weekly time slot on the schedule and responsible for paying for that time slot whether your child is able to make it or not. Of course, there are circumstances that arise and we are understanding of that as well, therefore we have the following policies for make ups to protect the instructor's time as well as your time:
-If you need to cancel a lesson due to a vacation, school event, or appointment, you must notify the instructor at the beginning of the month to receive a make up.
-All other circumstances require at least 24 hours notice. THERE WILL BE NO MAKE-UPS FOR ANY LESSON CANCELED WITHIN THE 24 HOUR NOTICE. Each student is granted two emergency make ups per year for severe last minute sickness or emergency. If a student is sick or has cold symptoms please consider a virtual lesson if they are able from home.
-It is the responsibility of the parent or student to remember to be at their lesson on time as well as be picked up on time.
-There are no make ups due to hurricanes or inclement weather (if there is no school due to a hurricane then there is no piano or voice lesson) Students will be reimbursed half the amount of the lesson(s) missed due to hurricanes and the instructor will take the financial hit for the other half of the lessons missed).
-Any lesson cancelled by the instructor will be made up.
-If there is a need to cancel a make up lesson, the same 24 hour rule applies.
